Darya Alaeva is a Consultant for HVS Career Network – Russia. She comes to us from Starbucks where she was a manager tasked with new store openings, operations and training. Darya’s hospitality career began with a placement at Hard Rock Café in USA in 2006. She returned to Russia to join Holiday Inn Suschevsky in Moscow where she held several roles in the food and beverage department. An Economics graduate, Darya also has additional qualifications in Marketing Communications and is trained as a journalist specialising in food and beverage news. Darya is based in Moscow and handles management-level recruitment and HR consulting for our food and beverage industry clients in Russia, CIS, the Baltics and Georgia.

Debbie Ma heads the HVS Career Network (HCN) division for the Asia Pacific Region. She joins HVS Executive Search with over seven years of experience in general and project management with firms in the financial and hospitality sectors. From independently running turnkey projects at one of Asia’s largest financial printing firms to leading training programmes at the companies she worked at, Debbie has got multi-tasking down to an art form. Born and raised in Hong Kong, where she graduated from Macquarie University with a Masters in Financial Management, Debbie has also spent time in New Zealand. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English. A selection of her clients include Onyx Hospitality, MGM Resorts International, Halekulani, Morton’s The Steakhouse and Sankara Nairobi.
